At Emerald Hills Medical Centre, we offer a wide array of medical services.
As a new patient you will need to fill-in a new patient registration form. When you arrive at the reception desk. Please ask for a patient registration form, fill-in all the required information and handover to our friendly staff.
Consultations are made walk-ins and also by appointment with the Doctor of your choice. Any urgent cases are seen by the first available Doctor depending on the nature of emergency and priority given accordingly.
If you require appointment for longer consults, or anything to discuss other than a standard consultation, please inform our receptionist. Please occasionally doctors run behind schedule as some people need more time for their consultation. We apologise for this inconvenience and will endeavour to keep you informed of any delays. We really appreciate your understanding and patience.
In some cases, patients have complex health problems and need longer consultation time. If you need longer consultation, please inform our reception staff. Longer appointment are usually available for immunisation, multiple health issues, skin checks and procedures, pap smear, mental health problems, health care plan.
To maintain cycle of care and committed to preventative care our practice regularly send you emails with the recent health information and contact to through SMS. If doctors need to contact you, we will send you SMS on mobile number listed your file. These messages will be confidential and do not contain any clinical information. Our Practice Policy is that we will only contact you for results if they need to be discussed with a doctor. Sometime, if urgent recall is needed to discuss your results, you will be contacted by phone call as well.
We keep your information and medical record as confidential. Our practice strictly follows the policy and practice Privacy and Confidentiality codes.
Our clinic is open 8 am till 8pm weekdays and 9am till 2pm on weekends, outside these hours you can contact Sydney Medical Services by calling 1300 Home GP or 02 8724-6300
To serve you in the best possible ways, your feedback is important to our Practice. We always welcome your suggestions to improve our service. In a situation when patient cannot come to our clinic, one of doctors may go for a home visits, however, it is only available if doctors have enough time for home visit. This service is however generally restricted to those who are a regular patient of our Doctors and have difficulty to attend clinic.
For non-English speaking patients a telephone interpreting service is available free of charge. If you or one of your family member need help for interpreting, please inform our reception staff – you can also book this service by calling the interpreting hotline on 131 450.
Our usual doctors consult are mixed-billing, However, there are some fee for procedures and also for other private consults for example, fit-to-drive medical, pre-employment medicals. Our allied health practitioners also charge private fee, please ask our reception staff before making a booking.
